Long time no see... :)

Hai! it's a very long time no see you all... :))

Hmmm.. I admitted that “istiqomah” is one of the most difficult things to do in this life. Istiqomah means “do something consistent and continuously”. Yup! In Islam, we were suggested to do every single good thing with consistent and continuously. Both of work for our better life and worshipping Him, we need to be istiqomah. For example, study and reading a Holy Qur’an. Doing both of them just in a little time but consistent and continuously will be better than if we do it in a large of time just for once. What do you think?

Yeah… istiqomah is really hard to do for me. And guess what? That’s what I feel too about take care of my lovely blog, huhuhu… I think I’ve failed to be istiqomah in this case. Never post anything here about 2 months makes me feel guilty. Hmmm….if you ask about the reason, maybe I could give you for a thousand reason, hehehe… but the main reason is because a holiday. Yipyip, I had a very long holiday about two months ago. And I don’t know either, even though I’ve got so many experiences and stories along that holiday, I have no passion to write them all here. At least at that time… :D #maybe I want to tell you later.

As usual, long time no see around the blogsphere, so many things changes and so many stories I missed. But it’s ok, becoz I know that there will be more new things that you all want to share, rite? And I’ll be loved to read it. ^^

Hmmm.. I’m already come back to this lovely city, Jogja. And I’m ready to join back with you all guys in the blogsphere. Hope you all still remember me here, hehehe…

His name was: Basith Fauzan Silmi

As I told you in my post before, that almost 2 years I lived in my uncle’s house with four of my cousin which all of them are boys. And of course they become the object of my curious, hohoho… By knowing about their habit one by one, make me understand how their characters were. But, I just want to talk about the number two from them. Even though he was still a child, I learned so many things from him. Maybe because I feel that we have so many similar each other. For example, we got the same treatment from our old sister or brother. They often cheat us, or maybe they always ignore us, pretend that we never exist in the world. I don’t know, whether all of the old brother/sister never like the younger one or not.

He also one of a high creativity child I’ve ever met. He loves drawing very much. No wonder that a quarter of his books are full with many kinds of cartoon which he draw by himself. He’s so great in copying a picture and making a new character. He draw whenever he wanted to. Recently, I just knew that he makes a small business with it, amazing!. He draw some pictures in HVS, so it become something like comic. Then he will sell it to his friend. When I ask how much he sell it, he said that a thousand for a comic. Many of his friends ordered to him, soccer comic, ninja, bicycle, chess, etc. Last time I asked him about how money he has got from it, he answered about twenty thousand rupiahs. Hmm..

Which one???

Which one we called it as “fall in love”?

When we couldn’t sleep because thinking of it all the time
Or…
When we could sleep tight easily and fill it with a beautiful dream?

When we felt the day move so fast,
Or…
It run so slow, just like what we want to?

When we always tried to be a nice guy as could as possible
Or…
When we realized that we’re getting mad?

Who’s the one that has successes made us fall in love?

The one who could make our heart beating ten times faster than usual
Or…
Who could make us feel like wrapping time?

The one who has made us always wondering their genius
Or..
Made us laughing their silliness ?

The one who made us reluctant
Or…
The one who made us feels like home?

Which one?

How to make it :

A La Folie Pas Du Tout

It was the first France movie that I’ve watched. 2004 movie. In English, the title will be “He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not”. My friend who suggested to watching the movie has worn me that the movie is a little bit strange and confusing, but I still enjoyed it until half of it. And it became more interesting from the last half till the end. The main actor and actress are Samuel Le Bihan and Audrey Tautou. They were so great in act. This movie is talking about love, unordinary love.

I guess for the first time when you watch it, you will think that “what a romantic couple they are!”

Visiting Bank of Indonesia

Tuesday, 8 February 2011

Here we are, me and some of my friends from ForSEI (Forum Studi Ekonomi Islam) visited Bank of Indonesia which I located in 0 kilometer of Yogyakarta. Yup, it’s placed in the most crowded area of this culture and student city. The building was looked so amazing from the outside, everybody said that it was heritage from the colony, Dutchman.

It was the first time I visit that building. I often back towards in front of that building, but I never enter it even for once before, hehehe. I was so lazy for the first time. If not because my best friend asked me to accompany her, maybe I wouldn’t go at that time, hehe (dasar pemalas!!)

Not bad, I got pretty fair reward for fighting my laziness. Here are some informations that I got from our visiting study, some of them are new for me. Check ‘em out :

· BI isn’t like a common bank which is being a mediator between the debtor and the creditor. But the obligation of BI is to supervise all of bank in Indonesia. (hellooooo pi, I think everyone has known about it).

· There are five main rights of BI are : to make a rule, to give a permit or a policy, to supervise, and to give a fine if there’s a break of law.

· Why is BI become an important institution in our country? Because more than 85% regulation money in Indonesia centralize in

Soekarno's Wives (the book)

I don't like the picture on the first page of this book. Eventhough some people said that it just an art or whatever. I still don't like it. Because for me as a woman, that is NOT a public consumption.T_T
Soekarno with marilyn monroe (in the last page of the book)
fyuuh..
*ok pi..just tell us about the content of the book..*

Ok..ok..there's no interesting thing from this book when I saw it for the first time, because actually I don't really interested in history. But, apparantly, I'm totally wrong. Because this book was totally success stool my heart and change my opinion about our first president, Mr. Soekarno.

As we know, Soekarno has been the most popular president in Indonesia. Not only because he was the first, but also because there are so many controvertial thing about him self along his life. Moreover, he ever said that "No one in this modern era has made much of contra feeling as my self did. I slandered like a bandit, and admired as a God".

Which group are you include in?

Talking About Mom

Yeah.. I know, mother's day has been passed about a month ago. But, I write this posting is not because a mother day. More than that, I suppose that -just like the affection day- mother's day should be celebrated everyday in our life. Because there's no single day for us in the world without her humble.

Yup! She's the one who with a pleasure sacrifice her self for us. Who has suffering her self about nine months for keeping us alive in her womb. Who has a widest smile when we were crying for the first time. Yeah, noone has a bigest love for us as our mom.. :')

Have you ever imagined how was the feeling to be a mom? I've once. Eventhough it wasn't become a real mom. One day, my mother got a phone call from my grand father. He said that my mother had to go to her hometown, because my grandfather got sick and need my mom's help to look after him self.

So, here it is. She left me for a month with all of home works obligation. Coincidently, I was the oldest daughter in our home. Because my older sister was in her boarding house and at that time I just graduated from senior high school and I didn't get any college or university yet.

Approaching with Jalaludin Rumi

About two weeks ago, I killed my long free time of waiting my next class in the library of university. Actually, I didn't have any plan to look for any books there. I just feel that spending time in the library is a wiser decision than spend it in the canteen, mall, or just have an easy talking with my other friends in front of the faculty.

So, when I walked alone among the bookshelves in the west side of forth floor, I found a unique book. At least the cover of it's book. The cover was about a picture of someone (I didn't know whether that was a man or a woman) who looked like was dancing alone with a high and mysterious ecstasy. It could be known by looked at his/her face. The dancer using a long dress and has a long hair too. The big letters of the cover mention it's title : "Rubais of Rumi".

Rumi... hmm...the name was sound familiar in my hearing. But I didn't know exactly who he is. When I opened the book, the content was only a set of poems in english. I thought it just cumulation of common english poem. So I took ang brought it home. More I read, more I confused. The poem doesn't look like the ordinary one. So the next day I asked to my friend. And finally, I understand what kind of book which I read along the night. hooo... :P

Rubais of Rumi is a set of Jalaluddin Rumi's poem. Do you know who is he?? fortunately, I knew him in my Tasawuf class few days ago..and after I looked for his information in "mbah google"  I got that JalaluddinRumiMaulana Muhammad ibn Hasin al Khattabi al-Bakri (Jalaluddin Rumi) or sometimes called by  Rumiadalah is a Sufi poet born in Balkh (now Afghanistan) on the 6th of Rabi al-Awwal 604 Hijri, or the date of 30 September 1207 Masehi. His father was descendant of Abu Bakr, named Bahauddin Walad. And his mother came from a royal family Khwarazm. Rumi's father is a devout scholars, mystics are forward-looking, a famous teacher at Balkh.

His poem better approach "love" to the God. So, simply, he proclaimed the God as his beloved, and declaire his relation with Him as an affection.

Here is one of his poem :

O you who've gone on pilgrimage -
where are you, where, oh where?
Here, here is the Beloved!

Welcome Back!!

Wow.. apparently, to carry out this blog is not as easy as I thought before. Just same like the others activity, at the beginning I felt an overflow spirit in my soul either in my brain. A lot of ideas came out from it's prison. But, as the time passes, I don't feel that zest anymore. I don't know where and how it is steam exactly. All I know is I've been about a month leaving this page, hahahaha...

Actually, I planed to post in my blog at least once a week. Hmmm... a nice (and brave) target for a beginner who doesn't have any supporting tools and ability in writing like my self, hehehe. Whatever, because my exception was : I could increase my ability in writing and also have a "nice place" to share with whoever. Well, although maybe some of the readers actually just slipped upon this page, huhuhu... u_u
it's ok.. ;D

Well, I was thinking that I want to re-carry out (is that true? I mean rearrange) my blog by fill it again with a common posting. I don't know, maybe it will be little bit different like it used to be. Because I have a silly ideas to write my post in english as possible as I could. Why do I call it as a "silly idea"? because I am totally aware that my english is so terrible, moreover I guess you'll have so many difficulties to understand what I really want to tell. So sorry about it.. :p

There's no other purpose of that silly idea except to improve my skill. I really have an eager of this language. That's why, just like Mr.Hilal (the founding father of SPBA) said, "make everything around youas what you like most". So, here I am. I want to apply it, and I think this blog is an appropriate place.

Hmm.. I pray for my self. Hopefully, it will not only become a prologue, but also could be a real way to help me achieve my dream. And I pray for you all, for the same thing..

saking lamanya gak nulis, lay out puskot lt.2 aja ampe udah berubah, ckckck.... ^^

I HATE...

I hate my self..
I hate myself that this weak
which can not fight all that came damage..
damage the heart, mind, and all the passion that used to be overflowing

I hate that feeling..
it feels like I really want to scolding.. cursing..
everything that glorify it self
the feeling that has buried me down under the earth face..

but I can't!!

longer I hate it, stronger it force to break out,
indeed, that feeling is very uncomfortable, suffering..

and I hate you!!

Something ’bout Love.. ^^

Every night it’s all the same
You’re frozen by the phone
You wait, something’s changed
You blame yourself every day
You’d do it again
Every night

There’s something ’bout love
That breaks your heart
Whoa oh oh oh
It sets you free
There’s something ’bout love
That tears you up
Whoa oh oh oh
You still believe
When the world falls down like the rain
It’ll bring you to your knees
There’s something ’bout love that breaks your heart
Whoa oh oh oh…
But don’t give up
There’s something ’bout love

Let's speak!!!

Lived for six years in a boarding school has made me love language very much. How couldn't it be?? I met so many people there. My friends were come from many different places. And I'm so thankful to my Lord for it.I don't know, why I'm so interested in communicating with other people. I guess because i think it's very nice to know about their hometown and many differences that we had. Especially about the languages. It's very unique that we can understand what other people want or what's on their mind just by saying some words. Although some times there's a word that has a different meaning in a different place.

It is very lovely to know some new vocabularies from any places. But it will be more interesting if we can speak not only with other people who come from our own nation, but also with a foreigner!!!. Yup, of course we have to be able communicating with International languages. Base on the recently survey, the most popular languages nowadays are : English, Arabic, and France. As we know, because of speed of technological development today, we can talk to every people in every side of the world by second!!. We can can with them about anything. Their custom and all about their country. What an easy way to know all over the world by asking a native from each district.

The problem is how come we can chat with them, or understand what they say, if we can't speak with their language??or at least by language which most of people understand it??. That's why so many people eager in study about, those languages. But, just like most of people who just try to learn a new language, they prefer to go deep into it by writing, not by speaking. Especially in Indonesia, which well-known with it's shy and polite society. It's lil bit hard for us -as Indonesian- to speak by "a strange language". There are a lot of frightened or worried if we say some word silly.

May be, there are some tips I wanna share to you. I've got it from my friend who can speaks fluently by foreign language. She gave it to me because she cares with me and she wants me to be able in that language too. Hopefully it can also help you who read it and also have an eager in this case. ^^

  • Make it as a habit. I have ever got a silly sentence from my little brother when I teach him at his third grade in elementary school. "How can the babies in America so genius?" he said. "How couldn't it be??" I replied his question with another one. "Of course!!! they can speak in english more fluently than I did, even they just 5 years old!!!" he argued. And I was laughing.. You know what I mean here.
  • Learn about their custom. Talking about foreign language is means you have also to learn about their life. (Remember, learn doesn't has a same meaning with 'follow' ). It will make us easier to understand and to say so many words in daily conversation. Because sometimes, the same sentence might be have a different meaning, depend on the intonation and the stressing that we use.
  • "And, how we can learn about their custom easily? I think read is a bored way" I said to her. Then she explained to me how if I try to watch some movies and just count on my hearing (not looking at the sub tittle) and repeat what they just said precisely. Or how if I listen to the music and try to sing together with the singer. Feel the way they sing it and try to catch what they want to convey by that song. And ya, I feel 'lil bit differences now with my speaking.
  • Well, as you know, different languages has a  different characteristic. So that with accent and rhythm. One thing you have to remember when you were a beginner  is don't ever influenced with it. Just calm and relax. It's important to try as same as native do, but it's okay for a beginner like us. If you usually talk slowly and clearly, just do it when you talk with this language.
  • Enrich your vocabularies. You can speak a lot if you know the vocabs a lot.
  • Don't think about the grammar. Grammar is a spooky thing for a beginner. Most of us afraid to talk because we're afraid if we say a sentence incorrect. Whereas, sometimes native speaker also don't use a correct sentence in daily conversation. Such as they just say "a pen please??" if they want to borrow a pen from other people. They don't use a perfect sentence like we've learned "may I borrow your pen please??". No, they don't.
  • Don't ever afraid!!! This is the core of  how to start speaking. Try to get some conversation from native speaker. If you live in tourism area which is often visited by foreigner, try to speak with them. Try to offering them our help so we can talk with them and ask many things.
Ok, now how if we try it together? because frankly speaking I'm also NOT good in speaking.
and this note is one of my way to support me up. :)
